{"id":2975,"date":"2014-07-18T08:40:37","date_gmt":"2014-07-18T08:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=2975"},"modified":"2014-07-18T08:40:37","modified_gmt":"2014-07-18T08:40:37","slug":"new-ma-religion-programmes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2014\/07\/18\/new-ma-religion-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"New MA Religion programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/thrs\/index.html\">Department of Religious Studies<\/a> is pleased to announce its new MA programmes in Religion are now open for application.<\/p>\n<p>There are two programmes, an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/thrs\/postgraduate\/ma-religion.html\">MA in Religion<\/a> based at our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/locations\/canterbury\/\">Canterbury campus<\/a>, and an \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/thrs\/postgraduate\/ma-religion-paris.html\">MA in Religion (Paris)<\/a>, based in Canterbury in the autumn term\u00a0and\u00a0the spring term based at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/paris\/\">University of Kent at Paris<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is also an option to study for a postgraduate certificate by studying an autumn term in Canterbury.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/thrs\/staff\/carrette.html\">Professor Jeremy Carrette<\/a>, Head of the Department of Religious Studies announced the MA programmes: \u2018This is a newly designed MA bringing together some of the most important developments within the field of Religion. It will bring together leading international scholars of the field, and present the key aspects of the interdisciplinary study of religion.
