{"id":2681,"date":"2014-05-21T15:55:23","date_gmt":"2014-05-21T15:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=2681"},"modified":"2016-03-24T17:35:58","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T17:35:58","slug":"classical-archaeological-studies-student-wins-templeman-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2014\/05\/21\/classical-archaeological-studies-student-wins-templeman-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies student wins Templeman Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Ciara Nicolaou, a third-year <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/index.html\">Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies<\/a> undergraduate, who has won the Templeman Scholarship to continue to study for an MA in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/290\/ancient-history-with-a-term-in-rome\">Ancient History with a Term in Rome<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Templeman Scholarship is exclusive to University of Kent students, offering Home\/EU students tuition fee cover for a taught full-time postgraduate degree at Kent.<\/p>\n<p>On winning the award, Ciara said: \u2018I am so pleased to have won the Templeman Scholarship for 2014; this funding from the University has made it possible for me to stay on to study Ancient History with a Term in Rome and pursue my academic interest in the ancient world.
