The broadcast featured on the long-running radio show <i>Une vie, une oeuvre<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Guillaume Apollinaire was an Italian born French poet, writer, novelist, and art critic, and considered one the forefathers of surrealism. He died after being wounded in World War I.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Read was interviewed alongside Laurence Campa, biographer and editor of Apollinaire\u2019s works.
