There was some very strong competition from schools across the country, both in the regional tournaments and the finals. So winning the cup is a great achievement. Hopefully, the team will have a chance to defend their title next year at a regional tournament held at the University of Kent.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We caught up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/philosophy\/news\/13857\/graduate-profile-abi-hawkins\">Abi Hawkins<\/a> earlier this year to find out about what she&#8217;s been up to and how Kent has helped in her career so far:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Philosophical reading and writing was a really helpful module, I\u2019ve definitely carried those skills over into my career.
