{"id":12868,"date":"2020-06-10T10:10:04","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T09:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=12868"},"modified":"2020-10-01T10:41:40","modified_gmt":"2020-10-01T09:41:40","slug":"secl-top-10-cug","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2020\/06\/10\/secl-top-10-cug\/","title":{"rendered":"National top 10 rankings in Complete University Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The School of European Culture and Languages has achieved a national top 10 position in three of its subject areas in the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk\/\">Complete University Guide (2021)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/european-culture-languages\/classics-archaeology\">Department of Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies<\/a> has seen success in two subject areas, with <strong>a rise of eight places for Archaeology to place it 4th in the UK<\/strong> and a rise of five places for <strong>Classics &amp; Ancient History to 12th in the UK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/european-culture-languages\/english-language-linguistics\/\">Department of English Language and Linguistics<\/a>, <strong>Linguistics is ranked 9th and retains its position in the top ten<\/strong> in the UK.
