{"id":11413,"date":"2019-10-23T12:07:02","date_gmt":"2019-10-23T11:07:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=11413"},"modified":"2019-10-23T12:07:02","modified_gmt":"2019-10-23T11:07:02","slug":"lauren-ware-philosophy-emotion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2019\/10\/23\/lauren-ware-philosophy-emotion\/","title":{"rendered":"Lauren Ware on philosophy and emotion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Lauren Ware, Lecturer in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/european-culture-languages\/philosophy\">Department of Philosophy<\/a>, has been invited to do a series of public talks on her philosophy of emotion research, the first set of which is on the Netflix show <em>Black Mirror<\/em> and the philosophy of pain and punishment the show engages with.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.funzing.com\/funz\/the-philosophy-of-black-mirror-24343?aff_id=ItIdRp\">first talk<\/a> will be on Wednesday 23 at Sway Bar in London, with future talks happening in <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.funzing.com\/funz\/the-philosophy-of-black-mirror-24771?aff_id=ItIdRp\">Bristol on 7 November<\/a> and in <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.funzing.com\/funz\/the-philosophy-of-black-mirror-24774\">Manchester on 11 Nov<\/a>.
