{"id":10056,"date":"2019-03-13T10:58:26","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T10:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=10056"},"modified":"2019-03-13T10:58:26","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T10:58:26","slug":"skepsi-borders-rememberance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2019\/03\/13\/skepsi-borders-rememberance\/","title":{"rendered":"Skepsi publishes on borders and remembrance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/skepsi\/\">Skepsi<\/a>,<\/em> the peer reviewed online journal of European thought and theory in the Humanities and Social Sciences promoted by the School of European Culture and Languages, is delighted to announce the publication of its latest issue.\u00a0<em>Skepsi<\/em>\u00a0is run\u00a0by PhD\/MA candidates, with the support of established and early career academics, and commits to publishing the work of postgraduate students and emerging scholars.<\/p>\n<p>The journal&#8217;s title, which comes from the Ancient Greek \u2018\u03c3\u03ba\u1f73\u03c8\u03b9\u03c2 [skepsis]\u2019 or \u2018enquiry\u2019\u00a0and the Modern Greek \u2018\u03c3\u03ba\u1f73\u03c8\u03b7 [sk\u00e9psi]\u2019 or \u2018thought\u2019, symbolises the will to explore new areas\u00a0and new methods in the traditional fields of academic research in the Humanities and Social\u00a0Sciences<\/p>\n<p>The issue combines volumes 9 &amp;
