Núria Triana Toribio, Professor of Hispanic Studies in the Department of Modern Languages, has co-organsied a film season to run at the Cineteca in Madrid. The series is entitled ‘Mujeres hechas de Punk’ [‘Women that Punk Made’].
The season builds upon Núria’s research on punk women, which was the focus of a special issues of the journal Lectora last year.
The season has been co-organised by Professor Cristina Garrigós Gonzalez of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia [National University of Distance Education] in Madrid and Jara Fernández Meneses, who completed her PhD in Hispanic Studies in the Department of Modern Languages at Kent.
The season runs from 25 June to 1 July 2018.
