As published in The Guardian University Guide 2017 on Monday, the University of Kent is now ranked 23rd out of 119 UK universities.
The Department of Religious Studies was ranked within the top 20 at 14th in the UK with 90% for satisfaction with teaching.
The Guardian’s league table ranks higher education institutions in Britain using a complex algorithm that takes in data from a variety of sources, including the National Student Survey, and a set of metrics including staff/student ratios, expenditure, entry scores and career prospects, among others.
