Andrew Lees, a graduate from the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies, has won a competitive £10,000 scholarship from the University of Edinburgh to pursue an MSc in Classical Arts and Archaeology.
Andrew was also awarded the Tom Blagg Prize at the SECL graduation party on 16 July 2015. The Tom Blagg Prize is awarded each year to the student who achieves the best degree in Classical & Archaeological Studies and/or Ancient History in honour of Tom Blagg (1942-2000), a leading British Scholar in the field of Roman architecture and architectural sculpture and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent.
