Congratulations to our final-year students from the Department of English Language and Linguistics who graduated today with their well-earned degrees. This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.
Several students in the department also won awards at a SECL prize giving. The winners were:
- Shona Wood for Best Degree
- Hiroyuki Tanaka won the Dissertation Prize
- Louise McKenner won for Most Significant Contribution to English Language & Linguistics
The prizes were awarded at a graduation party held on campus, prior to the graduation ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.
