Congratulations to our final-year students from the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies who graduated today with their well-earned degrees. This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.
Several students in the department have also won awards for a SECL prize giving. The winners were:
- Katharine Mawford won the Dissertation Prize and the KH Lee Ancient Language Prize for Best Mark in Advanced Latin
- Andrew Lees won the Tom Blagg Prize for best degree
- Gabrielle Pilcher won for the Most Significant Contribution to Classical & Archaeological Studies.
The prizes were awarded at a graduation party held on campus, prior to the graduation ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.
