Following on from the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies‘ success in this year’s University Research Prizes, the Department is pleased to announce that the first prize in the University’s Teaching Prizes competition has been awarded to a member of our staff.
The prize was awarded to Professor Ray Laurence, Professor of Roman History & Archaeology, for his innovative curriculum development work at the University’s Rome centre, involving the development of local and international partnerships, use of new media, and site-specific forms of assessment.
Our congratulations to Ray for his well-deserved prize.
