The 6th conference of the International Association of Literary Semantics (IALS) will take place at the University of Kent this week, 3-5 July 2014.
2014 marks the 22nd anniversary of the first IALS conference in 1992, which was also held at Eliot College at the University of Kent. In keeping with the spirit of marking milestones, the theme of the conference will be general, and diachronic in orientation.
The confirmed keynote speakers are: Professor Dr Beatrix Busse (University of Heidelberg), Dr Billy Clark (University of Middlesex), Professor Astrid Ensslin (Bangor University) and Professor Dan McIntyre (University of Huddersfield).
