On 22 March 2014, the Department of Philosophy at Kent will host the inaugural conference of the Southern Normativity Group (SoNG). The conference will bring together top researchers working on the central question of normativity: ‘what is it for something to be good?’ Sessions will be delivered by academics from across the UK and USA, and the keynote address will be given by Sharon Street (New York University).
The Southern Normativity Group is composed of philosophers in the southern UK working on questions about normativity, both in epistemology and in ethics, and was launched in 2013.
There is no registration fee. To register for the conference, please email Joe Bowen at jb569@kent.ac.uk
