On Saturday 9 November, prospective students are invited to taster days for subjects within the School of European Culture and Languages:
- Classical & Archaeological Studies
- Comparative Literature
- English Language and Linguistics
- Modern Languages
- Philosophy
- Religious Studies and Asian Studies
Prospective students will have the opportunity to attend a number of sample seminars based on modules taught at Kent, given by members of academic staff. They will also find out about study abroad opportunities, joint honours programmes, general information about our courses, and the opportunity to talk to staff and students from a wide range of subject areas.
The day begins at 10.00 and finishes at 15.00. Lunch will be provided and the day is free of charge. Although the seminars are for students only, parents/guardians are welcome to come along on the day; there will be an opportunity for them to take part in a Q&A session with staff and students while the seminars are taking place. They may also wish to spend some time exploring Canterbury!
Those interested in a joint honours degree (studying a combination of subjects) may be able to attend seminars for both subjects. These events are always popular with applicants and early booking is recommended.
To register, or for any queries about the day, please email secl@kent.ac.uk.
