Dr Antonio da Silva, Language Coordinator in Portuguese, in the Department of Modern Languages is to be a guest speaker at the Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teachers’ Conference on Monday 6 June at the University of Leeds.
The MFL teachers conference will focus on the new A-Level curricula for German, French, Spanish and Portuguese and is a forum for teachers to meet, share teaching practices, enhance their knowledge of the target language culture(s) and gain relevant and applicable material and advice for getting to know and teaching subject content.
Antonio’s workshop is in the Portuguese section and is titled ‘Making the Most of Online Free Resources to Help Younger Language Learners Succeed and Keep Motivated’.
