Charity Griffiths, an Archaeology and Anthropology BA (Hons) student in the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies, is to appear as a supporting artist in an episode of Midsomer Murders, based around a murder on an archaeology site, on Wednesday 10 February at 8pm.
Midsomer Murders is a detective drama produced by Bentley Production for the ITV network, first aired in 1997 it has established itself as a mainstay of ITV drama, the series was originally based on the books by Caroline Graham and stars Neil Dudgeon as Detective Inspector John Barnaby.
Alexandra has a small non-speaking part and was involved in filming, mainly on an archaeology site, for 10 days. The producer and director tapped into her knowledge of archaeology sites for the programme.
