Julia Peters, a graduate from the MA in Roman History and Archaeology (with a Term in Rome) programme, will complete her 1,200 mile walk from Canterbury to Rome on Sunday 14 June.
Julia started her journey on Saturday 28 March to promote the Via Francigena – the ancient pilgrim route running from France to Rome – and the European Institute of Cultural Routes, as well as connecting the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus with its Rome centre.
During her walk Julia has been writing a blog about her experiences and the people who have joined her along the way. You can view her blog at http://kentontheviafrancigena.com
Congratulations to Julia on her amazing achievement.
