Following the results from the recent Research Excellence Framework (REF2014), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) announced yesterday that the University of Kent will receive a 27.3% increase in quality-related research (QR) funding, one of the largest increases in the country.
The School of European Culture and Languages (SECL) is delighted to have contributed a major part of this success, with the income to the University from SECL’s REF2014 submission in 2015/16 to see a substantial increase. SECL has contributed more than 20% of the total funding increase for the University.
