Professor Gordon Lynch from the Department of Religious Studies has just been awarded a Leverhulme Visiting Professorship for Professor Mia Lovheim to visit Kent.
Mia Lovheim is Professor of Theology at the University of Uppsala, Sweden. She is edited the collections Media, Religion and Gender: Key Issues and New Challenges (Routledge, 2013) and Mediatization and Religion: Nordic Perspectives (Nordicom, 2012), as well authored Sökare i cyberspace [Viewer in Cyberspace] (Cordia, 2007).
Leverhulme Visiting Professorships are awarded to UK institutions to enable an eminent researcher from overseas to visit and enhance the knowledge and skills of academic staff or the student body within the host institution.
