The conference held at the University of Kent at Paris on the work of prolific French author Marie Nimier, organised by Dr Ana de Medeiros from the Department of French, has gained prominent French press coverage.

The weekly paper Le Nouvel Observateur, based in Paris, featured the conference, entitled ‘Marie Nimier: Absence and Loss’, which discussed the themes of gender, sexuality, absence and loss in the French author Nimier’s work.
