Dr Lucy O’Meara from the Department of French and Dr Heide Kunzelmann from the Department of German have launched the inaugural ‘SECL Year Abroad Photo Competition’.
The competition, open to all SECL students who participated in their year abroad in 2012-13, asks students to submit photographs they took while abroad on one of three themes: people; places; and the unexpected.
The competition will be judged by a panel of SECL staff and a professional photographer, and the winning photo will be displayed in the SECL school corridor.
