Dr Dave Roberts and Professor Michael Fischer have been awarded just under \u00a320,000 for a NERC Pathfinder grant to\u00a0look at the commercialisation of the ‘iTrade Wildlife’ software which they have been developing.<\/p>\n
The money will pay for a business consultant, travel to potential customers in the UK and on the continent and also a ‘man’ vs machine analysis to look at how good it is compared to a human. If it looks promising then this will allow them to apply for a NERC Follow-On grant to commercialise the product, a grant which could potentially bring in \u00a380-120k!<\/p>\n
