We are inviting student-led applications for a number of research scholarships to commence in September 2023. The GTAs will cover tuition fees at the UK rate plus a combined maintenance grant and salary, equivalent to the Research Councils UK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend. The scholarship will be offered for one year in the first instance, renewable for a maximum of three years subject to satisfactory academic performance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This Division of Human and Social Sciences (HSS) Research Scholarship competition in SAC is open to applicants from any country. Please note that International students must have the <\/span>appropriate documentation to evidence eligibility to work in the UK<\/span><\/a>. The method of determining\u00a0<\/span>tuition fee status<\/span><\/a> is complex and follows guidelines issued by the UK Council for International Student Affairs. If you are applying as an international candidate, you will have to make up the difference between UK and International fees.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Please note that students who have already started their PhD are not eligible for this scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n GTA Application deadline: 10th March 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n SeNSS ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership Funding<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n SeNSS is one of only 14 UK ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnerships and will be offering a number of full-funded ESRC doctoral studentship to start in September 2023. The awards offer a doctoral stipend (equivalent to the Research Councils UK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend for\u00a0<\/span>2022\/2023 was \u00a317,668 2023\/24 to be announced<\/span><\/b>\u00a0plus tuition fees at the Home rate and access to further research funding.
