Environmental Anthropologist Laura Ribbons\u2019 work explores her fascination with plants and the ways in which we coexist with them (or not), themes explored in this exhibition she has just curated. <\/p>\n
2016 MA Graduate of Environmental Anthropology Laura Ribbons is a passionate environmentalist and artist.\u00a0 She has just co-curated an online exhibition to coincide with the launch of COP26, which explores creative responses to the climate crisis and the role that artists can play to bring awareness to the movement.\u00a0 The exhibition is hugely influenced by her time spent at University of Kent.<\/p>\n
‘Our exhibition \u2018It\u2019s What We Do Next\u2019<\/em>\u00a0launches to coincide with COP26 and showcases\u00a0artists and designers whose work engages directly with the climate crisis<\/strong>.’ she told us ‘We believe that artists have an important role to play and each represented here, reveals their own unique response to the crisis, as well as demonstrating a singular visual language and creative problem solving.
