The GIIFF is one of the most prestigious festivals in the US celebrating indigenous cultures from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/AwardsPoster-yellow.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4514 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/AwardsPoster-yellow-cropped-210x300.jpg\" alt=\"The Healer and The Psychiatrist with award recognition\" width=\"210\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/AwardsPoster-yellow-cropped-210x300.jpg 210w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/AwardsPoster-yellow-cropped.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px\" \/><\/a>The festival will follow a screening of the documentary on the 17<sup>th<\/sup> of April as part of the annual meeting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/psychiatryandculture.org\/#!event-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Society for the Study of Psychiatry and Culture (SSPC)<\/a> in Rhode Island. The theme of the conference is Collaboration: Partnership, Translation, Integration.
