Newton-Fisher<\/a> is currently selecting students for the field experience of a lifetime. In September, he will be taking seven students to a field-site in Uganda, normally accessible only to researchers, to study the ecology and behaviour of wild chimpanzees first hand.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4507 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/students-by-water-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"Three students on the shores of a lake in Uganda\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/students-by-water-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/files\/2020\/02\/students-by-water.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>After running as a pilot last year, this is the first full year for this field course.
