Marlowe Lecture Theatre 1, University of Kent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Join Dr <a href=\"http:\/\/hnhp.cnrs.fr\/?DETROIT-Florent&amp;lang=fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Florent D\u00e9troit<\/a>, from the Mus\u00e9um National d\u2019Histoire Naturelle, to hear about the exciting discovery of a new species of hominin, <em>Homo luzonensis<\/em>. <em>Homo luzonensis<\/em> is a Late Pleistocene species of the genus Homo from Callao Cave (Northern Luzon, Philippines).<\/p>\n<p>Dr D\u00e9troit is a palaeoanthropologist specialising in the evolution of Pleistocene hominins in Southeast Asia. His research interests include biological and cultural variability of Homo sapiens in Africa and inter-tropical Asia.
