Research into the global trade in reptiles and amphibians has featured strongly since DICE\u2019s inception and continues through to the present day. This talk, by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/anthropology-conservation\/people\/481\/griffiths-richard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Richard Griffiths<\/a>, Professor of Biological Conservation, will explore some of the challenges, breakthroughs and personalities that have been associated with that work over three decades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The event will take place on Thursday 21 November from 18.00-19.00, in Grimond Lecture Theatre 2 and is free and open to all.<\/strong> Please come along to this celebration of DICE and its work!<\/p>\n<p>For more details please visit the Event\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/702246883584293\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The DICE talks are a monthly set of free and public events that showcase the work of DICE members, students and alumni.
