{"id":2332,"date":"2017-07-31T16:12:48","date_gmt":"2017-07-31T16:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/?p=2332"},"modified":"2017-07-31T16:12:48","modified_gmt":"2017-07-31T16:12:48","slug":"dice-phd-student-wins-most-popular-article-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/2017\/07\/31\/dice-phd-student-wins-most-popular-article-award\/","title":{"rendered":"DICE PhD student wins Most Popular Article Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DICE PhD candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sac\/current-students\/research-students\/dice\/k-o\/menezes-barata_izabela.html\" target=\"_blank\">Izabela Menezes-Barata<\/a> has been awarded the 2016 Most Popular Article award from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbherpetologia.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brazilian Society of Herpetology<\/a> for her article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioone.org\/doi\/abs\/10.2994\/SAJH-D-16-00006.1\" target=\"_blank\">Downscaling the Gap: Protected Areas, Scientific Knowledge and the Conservation of Amphibian Species in Minas Gerais, Southeastern Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The award was instituted in 2015, for the three most accessed articles on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioone.org\/loi\/sajh\" target=\"_blank\">BioOne website<\/a>. Winners receive a certificate and cash prize of $700, $300 and $100 respectively.
