Final year students at Kent remain among the most satisfied in the UK, according to the results of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In a survey designed to gather opinions from students about their experience of their courses, Kent achieved the fourth highest score for overall satisfaction*<\/em><\/strong>, up one place from 2015.<\/p>\n

Kent\u2019s high level of overall satisfaction also resulted in it being ranked joint first in London and the South East<\/strong>, alongside the universities of Oxford and Surrey.<\/p>\n

Many of Kent\u2019s subjects <\/a>were rated highly by its students, with 11 in the top 10<\/strong> and more than two-thirds in the top 20<\/strong> for overall satisfaction. Kent\u2019s top 10<\/strong> subjects include: Chemistry, Comparative Literary Studies, Archaeology, Anthropology<\/strong>, Forensic & Archaeological Science, Politics, Molecular Biology, Biophysics & Biochemistry, Management Studies, and Journalism.<\/p>\n

Positive student feedback also resulted in Kent \u2013 the UK\u2019s European university<\/a> \u2013 being ranked above the national average<\/strong> for teaching, academic support <\/strong>and the organisation and management of its courses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professor John Baldock, Kent\u2019s Pro Vice-Chancellor for Teaching, Learning & Students<\/a><\/strong>, welcomed the survey results. He said:<\/p>\n

\u2018I am pleased that our students continue to rate the Kent experience as one of the best in the UK. As we are always seeking ways to improve upon every aspect of our student and teaching experience, their feedback and opinions are very important to us.<\/p>\n

\u2018This NSS also supports our belief that we can provide a first class experience here at Kent. This includes excellent learning and study facilities, and a wide range of undergraduate programmes.\u2019<\/p>\n
