The Evolution of the Human Hand; Grasping Trees and Tools&#8217; for an initial fixed term period of 1 year and full time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As Post-doctoral Research Associate in Biomechanics you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>take the lead in writing peer-reviewed papers on relevant research<\/li>\n<li>give presentations<\/li>\n<li>travel to Austria and Belgium to consult with colleagues and conduct validation experiments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As Post-doctoral Research Associate in Biomechanics you will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a PhD or equivalent in a topic relevant to biomechanics and validation experiments<\/li>\n<li>experience of analysing biomechanical data<\/li>\n<li>have a track record of peer-reviewed publications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, this is a great opportunity to join the team in the Animal Postcranial Evolution (APE) Lab within the School of Anthropology and Conservation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start date for applications: 18 May 2015<br \/>\nClosing date for applications: 21 June 2015<br \/>\n<strong>Interviews:<\/strong> There will be a long listing process where those applicants will be contacted by Dr Tracy Kivell over Skype (between 29 June &#8211;
