{"id":1355,"date":"2014-04-07T12:31:59","date_gmt":"2014-04-07T12:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/?p=1355"},"modified":"2014-04-07T12:31:59","modified_gmt":"2014-04-07T12:31:59","slug":"kents-ethnobotany-masters-programme-develops-exchanges-with-soass-endangered-languages-archive-and-ucls-school-of-pharmacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/2014\/04\/07\/kents-ethnobotany-masters-programme-develops-exchanges-with-soass-endangered-languages-archive-and-ucls-school-of-pharmacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent\u2019s Ethnobotany Masters programme develops exchanges with SOAS\u2019s Endangered Languages Archive and UCL\u2019s School of Pharmacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sac\/studying\/programmes\/pgt\/MSc\/msc_ethnobotany.html\">Ethnobotany Masters programme<\/a> has developed exchanges with SOAS\u2019s Endangered Languages Archive and UCL\u2019s School of Pharmacy to enhance learning and widen CBCD\u2019s network of research and training in interdisciplinary programmes in human-environment relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Candide Simade and her colleagues at SOAS provide field linguistics and language documentation training to Kent\u2019s students, while Dr. Raj Puri at Kent has provided plant identification and ethnobotanical knowledge collection training for SOAS\u2019s Liguistics staff and students.
