{"id":1262,"date":"2014-03-20T19:32:01","date_gmt":"2014-03-20T19:32:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/?p=1262"},"modified":"2014-03-20T19:32:01","modified_gmt":"2014-03-20T19:32:01","slug":"scholarships-at-durrell-institute-of-conservation-and-ecology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/sac-news-events\/2014\/03\/20\/scholarships-at-durrell-institute-of-conservation-and-ecology\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships at Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent&#8217;s\u00a0Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE)\u00a0is pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 DICE MSc Scholarship scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will receive a fully funded studentship on one of our taught Master\u2019s in our Conservation Science and Management programmes. <b>Applicants must meet the following criteria: <\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022Be nationals of or have official refugee status in a country that is officially recognised as &#8216;lower to middle income&#8217; as defined by the <a title=\"World Bank definition\" href=\"http:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/about\/country-classifications\/country-and-lending-groups\" target=\"_blank\">World Bank<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Have at least two years\u2019 of work experience in the conservation sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Be in possession of a good undergraduate degree, with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Meet the English language requirements as required by UKBA.<\/p>\n<p>The Scholarship will cover full tuition fees, a monthly stipend and assistance in travel expenses to and from the UK.
