We are pleased to announce that this year’s\u00a0Stirling Lecture will be given by Professor Phyllis C. Lee.<\/p>\n
The Stirling Lecture is held annually in honour of Professor Paul\u00a0Stirling, founding Professor of the Department of Sociology and Social\u00a0Anthropology at the University of Kent. He is best known as the author of the\u00a0classic ethnography, ‘Turkish\u00a0Village’.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Stirling\u00a0lectures are open to all those\u00a0interested, both members of\u00a0\u00a0the public, as well as university staff and students.
