You may already have seen that DICE very recently won a £8.3M ‘Expanding Excellence’ award from the UK Government to expand its staff and broaden its expertise, and a further £2.1M to host a Leverhulme Trust ‘Space for Nature’ Doctoral scholarship programme which will include opportunities for MSc and PhD studentships over the next 5-8 years. Professor Bob Smith is the Director of DICE and he also teaches on our Conservation MSc programme, as well as leading the DICE staff/student community. To gain a flavour of this, you can view on our DICE Facebook page our livestreamed Annual DICE Lecture which this year was given by Professor Juliet Vickery, British Trust for Ornithology, as well as other DICE talks and activities.
