We have three fantastic charities nominated and the charity which receives the highest number of student votes will receive a donation from the School, so please take a moment to let us know which you prefer.
Thanks to all of you who completed the NSS this year! And nominating a charity! We will be donating over £120 to the charity that gets the most votes. The Center for Great Apes
- their mission is to provide a permanent sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, or from the exotic pet trade.
East Kent Rape Crisis Centre
- a registered charity made up of trained professionals & volunteers providing a safe space to everyone affected by any kind of sexual violence or coercion, experienced at any time during their lives.
Paws2Rescue
- a UK registered charity that works to relieve the plight of Romanian dogs by supporting private shelters with food and bedding, raising donations for veterinary treatments and running education and neutering programmes. They also help some of these dogs to find loving family homes in the UK and across Europe.
