The School of Anthropology and Conservation extends a warm welcome to Dr Monika Kujawska who will be visiting until the end of May, funded by a Polish government grant.
Dr Kujawska is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Lodz. An anthropologist by training, Monika has conducted quite extensive fieldwork on people-plant interactions (mostly centred around food, diet and health-care) in a number of places, including Poland, Argentina and Peru.
Dr Kujawska is currently working on a monograph on Amazonian home-gardens and is looking forward to interacting with colleagues and students across the School.
