Are you a woman interested in sharing your amazing science with the public?!? Become a speaker at the next Soapbox Science Canterbury event in June.
Last year’s inaugural event brought together twelve women to speak about their scientific research on a broad range of topics, including plant biology, planetary science, conservation biology, sport science, psychology and biological anthropology.
In preparation for the next event, the School of Anthropology and Conservation will provide training and support to help you engage the public with your research, inspire the next generation and promote women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine).
Soapbox Science Canterbury 2019 will take place on Saturday 15th June between 13:00 and 16:00 in Westgate Gardens. Apply here by March 1st.
