Last week saw the annual school trip to Paris for anthropology undergraduates led by Professor João Pina-Cabral.
. It comprised of a day trip to visit the Musée de L’Homme (Museum of Mankind) of Paris, which is mostly dedicated to human evolution, and the Quai Branly Museum, which is dedicated to the indigenous art and cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.
Each museum, in its own way, is of exceptionally high quality. Both of them constitute a great learning experience to anyone who visits them. Particular thanks are extended to Professor Benoît De L’Estoile who guided the students around the Musée de L’Homme and answered their questions.
Students also had the opportunity to take pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower, walk along the Seine and enjoy a Parisian lunch.
