Forty years of international environmental policy: has it made a difference? A personal perspective

Tonight Stanley Johnson will be delivering the Annual DICE in celebration of the University of Kent’s 50th anniversary and DICE’s 25th anniversary.

Stanley has a considerable career in environmental policy starting inĀ 1979 where as an MEP he served as Vice Chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection. Stanley has also been an environmental consultant, a trustee of the Earthwatch Institute and Plantlife International and an environmental adviser to Jupiter Asset Management. He is currently a trustee of the Gorilla Organisation (www.gorillas.org) and an Ambassador for the United Nations Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) (www.cms.int)
