We are pleased to announce that this year’s Stirling Lecture will be given by Professor Phyllis C. Lee.
The Stirling Lecture is held annually in honour of Professor Paul Stirling, founding Professor of the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Kent. He is best known as the author of the classic ethnography, ‘Turkish Village’.
Stirling lectures are open to all those interested, both members of the public, as well as university staff and students. It is not necessary to pre-register, or to book in advance: just turn up on the day!
