Dr Chris Deter has been appointed as Head of School.
Biological Anthropologist Chris had been in the role on Interim Head of School since August, following Dr Tatanya Humle stepping down to help coordinate the ARRC task forcewithin the IUCN SSC Primate Specialist Group Section on Great Apes. Chris takes on this permanent role from the 1st January and has agreed to remain in the role for a minimum of two years.
Director of the Division of Human and Social Sciences Professor David Wilkinson announced the news just before the holidays ‘I am delighted for Chris and for the School, and I am sure that you will join me in offering her congratulations.’
