The evening public lecture in London, titled the Oman Field Science Lecture, is aimed at those interested in current and future field research in Oman and is supported by the Embassy of Oman and the Anglo Omani Society.
Hadi Al Hikmani, who is currently undertaking a PhD on the population genetics of the Arabian leopard, will discuss his recent camera trapping and genetic sampling studies to assist the survival of the shy and endangered Arabian leopards in the Dhofar Mountains of southern Oman.
