We would like to invite you to attend our ESRC Festival of Social Science event in Canterbury on November 10th, from 6-8 pm at the Curzon Cinema.
This event will launch an Online Archive of the 50 Farmers Tales project, a 50th Anniversary research project conducted by staff and students in the School of Anthropology and Conservation in 2015.
We interviewed 50 farmers across the county to see how their farms and farming had changed during the life of the university. The event will present results of the work as well as a 40 minute film made from excerpts of the filmed interviews. We’ll follow this with a discussion about farming in Kent past, present and in the post-Brexit future. See our project website for some details.
Tickets are free but space is limited, so please RSVP to Dr Raj Puri.
