Max Harrison graduated in 2011 with a BA in Social Anthropology with a year in Japan and has now been accepted to study a PhD in Anthropology at Harvard. Only 3% of applicants are accepted by Harvard so Max has done amazingly; although we’re not surprised!
Max initially trained and worked as a plumber before enrolling to study Japanese part time at his local Adult Education Centre. He found studying so rewarding that he joined the Open University to study an Introduction to Social Sciences. Having kindled a passion for Japanese and the Social Sciences he sought out a course which combined both of these interests – and he found us!
