Kent\u2019s 4th Innovation i-Teams programme kicks off on 1 February and we&#8217;re seeking  innovative students to work together to solve real world business challenges. Here are 5 reasons why we think you should take part.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Solve real life business challenges<\/h2>\n<p>Throughout the i-Teams programme, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work in a team to solve a problem faced by one of our business challenge sponsors. You&#8217;ll then need to present your recommended solution to a panel of industry experts at the end of the eight weeks. Our challenge sponsors range from local SMEs to multinational corporations, giving you the chance to connect with and showcase your strengths to future employers.<\/p>\n<p>This years&#8217; challenge sponsors are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>World-leading engineering company,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.baesystems.com\/en\/home\">BAE Systems<\/a><\/li>\n<li>British female fashion brand,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vesper247.com\/\">Vesper 247<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Cultural and creative industry project,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/institute-cultural-creative-industries\/dockingstation\">The Docking Station<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-474\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ris\/files\/2022\/12\/DSC_5162.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"5506\" height=\"3671\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>2. Enhance your employability skills<\/h2>\n<p>This is a great opportunity to enhance your teamworking, presenting and time management skills whilst gaining experience of working on real-life industry challenges. Make the most of winter\u2019s dark evenings<\/h2>\n<p>i-Teams takes place on Wednesdays from 6.15pm-8:45pm between 1 February and 22 March, just when the evenings are at their coldest, darkest and least exciting. Meet other innovators<\/h2>\n<p>Your multidisciplinary i-Team will consist of innovative students from across the University.
