{"id":1637,"date":"2025-07-11T11:55:29","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T10:55:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ris\/?p=1637"},"modified":"2025-07-11T11:55:29","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T10:55:29","slug":"registration-opens-for-the-sanctuary-solidarities-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ris\/2025\/07\/11\/registration-opens-for-the-sanctuary-solidarities-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration opens for the Sanctuary Solidarities Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeSKg6WcOEmL0AxKbqvJIRhfy-guUkwsPSOCRAnfkLtORhXdg\/viewform?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=109813456942808715922\">Registration has now opened<\/a>\u00a0for the Eastern Arc Conference 2025: \u2018Sanctuary Solidarities\u2019.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a member of the academic research consortium, Eastern Arc, the University of Kent is supporting the conference held at <a href=\"https:\/\/easternarc.ac.uk\/conference2025\/\">the University of Sussex on 10 September 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It will focus on the fourth of Eastern Arc\u2019s priorities, <a href=\"https:\/\/easternarc.ac.uk\/sanctuary\/\">Sanctuary<\/a>, and uses the anniversaries of the founding of UNHCR and Cities of Sanctuary movement to explore a diverse range of issues for refugees, migrants and those seeking sanctuary, and for those supporting them.
