Under a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, a\u00a0scheme which brings businesses and\u00a0academics together, Kent simulation\u00a0researchers helped the company\u00a0develop digital models of its stations in London and Paris. These now form a\u00a0core part of the Eurostar\u2019s planning\u00a0process, allowing them to test the knock-on effect of changes to service delivery\u00a0such as the potential impact of different\u00a0passport queues after Brexit.\u00a0The two-year project will now move on to\u00a0developing models of Eurostar rail fleet,\u00a0with the work designed to improve\u00a0efficiency and reduce disruption when\u00a0making changes.<\/p>\n
